The Edmonton Oilers have taken a 2-0 series lead over the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final after a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory in Game 2 on Saturday night. Evan Bouchard scored the game-winning goal just 3:28 into the extra period to send the Oilers to victory.

The Stars controlled much of the play in the first period, outshooting the Oilers 11-3, but Edmonton got on the board first just past the midway point of the frame when Zach Hyman capitalized on a power play. Dallas tied the game early in the second period on a goal from Miro Heiskanen, but the Oilers regained the lead just over two minutes later on a breakaway goal from Connor McDavid.

The Stars tied the game once again in the third period on a goal from Jason Robertson, but the Oilers took the lead again just over a minute later on a goal from Leon Draisaitl. Dallas tied the game once again with just over five minutes remaining in regulation on a goal from Heiskanen, but Bouchard's goal in overtime gave the Oilers the victory.
